My music video debut: You Oughta Know Inbound Marketing, written & performed by Rebecca Corliss, featuring some of the HubSpot staff, and for no particularly good reason, yours truly as well. What can I say? It was fun to “suit-up” and pretend to be a rockin’ bassist.

HubSpot is on my short-list of “cool Boston startups”. I’d like to showcase each entry on that list, so now is as good a time as any to start.

HubSpot’s premise is simple & powerful: Outbound (interruption-based) marketing effectiveness is on the decline, whereas Inbound marketing (drawing a qualified audience to your site by creating value through blogging, social media, and search engine optimization) is now the most cost-effective approach. HubSpot provides analytics tools, webinars, web TV, and a variety of other resources to help small to medium business capitalize on inbound marketing.
